PANTOOA / PANTOA (KHOA+CHANNA SWEET)

Recipe for Pantooa

Ingredients

Khoa                         300 g
Channa                     300 g
Baking powder          ½ tsp
Maida                        35 g
Sugar                        1 Kg
Water                        1 kg
Ghee                         500 g

Method of preparation of Pantooa

To prepare pantooa, khoa and channa are the major ingredients required. Khoa and channa are broken into bits. Baking powder and maida are mixed separately. Then this mixture is added to the broken khoa and channa and mixed again. Now the mixture is kneaded, adding small quantities of water until uniform dough is obtained. Thereafter it is proceeded as for preparing gulab jamun.
