How to make peda?

Freshly made khoa is broken into bits. Ground sugar is mixed into it. Then it is put in a karahi and cooked in a very slow non-smoky fire, stirring all the while with a khunti. Crushed cardamom can be added if required. When the mixture is ready, it is poured into a tray and allowed to cool and set. Now the peda is ready. It is decorated if desired with silver paper and sliced pista. The peda is cut in to required size and shape to serve.
